- Update Notes for A Bridge Too Far 2.0a
-
- CHANGES
- ╖ You can no longer deduce enemy placements during deployment mode
- by watching for the targeting cursor while dragging a fire line.
- ╖ Dead tank sprites no longer dissappear.
- ╖ Dead tanks will continue to smoke.
- ╖ It is easier to drive a tank straight down a road.
- They will also be less likely to expose their side to the enemy
- in the middle of a move order.
- ╖ Anti-tank Guns placed in multi-story buildings are assumed to be on
- the ground floor and don't get LOS advantages from higher floors.
- ╖ Tanks now can move onto the Arnhem bridge.
- ╖ Mortars on "Defend" or when controlled by the AI were too accurate.
- Now they will target an area, not individual men.
-
-
- Because the 2.0a patch affects data transferred during a multi-player game,
- players who have installed 2.0a will no longer be able to play
- head-to-head with players who have not installed the patch and who
- still have 2.0.
-
- The 2.0a patch does not affect any saved games that you have from
- A Bridge Too Far 2.0. You will be able to install the patch and
- continue to play the same game.
-
- The 2.0a patch will work with any localized version of A Bridge Too Far.
- Any language specific patches refer only to a localized version of
- the patch setup. The updated cc2.exe is the same.
-
- INSTALLATION
- The patch is simply an updated cc2.exe.
